Creator Guidelines

1. Intellectual Property & Usage Rights

By submitting a build to Heybuilds, you expressly agree that:

• You fully and permanently transfer all intellectual property rights of the build to Heybuilds, including but not limited to all files, structures, designs, concepts, assets and derivatives.
• Heybuilds obtains the unrestricted right to sell, distribute, modify, update, adapt, promote and exploit the build, worldwide and for an unlimited duration.
• Heybuilds may update, fix, adapt or modify the build at any time, without creator approval, including for compatibility, quality or platform evolution purposes.
• You authorize Heybuilds to use your creator pseudonym for crediting, presentation and marketing purposes.
• By submitting a build, the affiliate warrants that they own or have the rights to all intellectual property involved.

Creators are credited on the product sales page and are provided with a dedicated creator page showcasing their published builds.

2. Exclusivity & External Sales

• All builds published on Heybuilds are exclusive by default.
• Selling, distributing or making a build available on any marketplace (including the official Minecraft Marketplace, BuildByBit, MCModels, or similar platforms) is strictly prohibited, unless prior written authorization is granted by Heybuilds.
• Any attempt to bypass the platform (private sales, external redirections, off-platform payments) may result in immediate archival of the build.

Customer licenses granted through Heybuilds are permanent and irrevocable.

3. Pricing, Revenue & Payments

All prices and revenue rules are defined exclusively by Heybuilds

Build Sales Revenue

Creators receive a fixed payout corresponding to approximately 50% of the public price:

• Small Build: $3.50
• Medium Build: $4.50
• Large Build: $6.50
• Maps: $6.50

These amounts are fixed and not negotiated individually.

Affiliate Subscriptions (All Access Pass)

• When a user subscribes to the All Access Pass through a creator’s affiliate link:
  • the creator receives $1 for the first subscription month (introductory pricing period);
  • then $5 per active subscription month for each subsequent month.
• Multiple downloads of the same build by the same user are counted only once.
• Creator accounts have free All Access Pass access; their downloads are never counted.
• Creating multiple accounts or self-subscribing through affiliate links to manipulate earnings is strictly prohibited.

Download-Based Rewards

• $0.20 is distributed per eligible download for builds and maps
• $0.02 is distributed per eligible download for decorations
• Only the first 25 downloads per user per month are counted.
• A download is counted when:
  • a schematic is downloaded;
  • a world file is downloaded;
  • or the 3D guide is viewed for at least 5 minutes.
• Multiple downloads of the same build by the same user are counted only once.
• Creator accounts have free All Access Pass access; their downloads are never counted.
• Creating multiple accounts or self-subscribing through affiliate links to manipulate earnings is strictly prohibited.

Heybuilds reserves the right to modify, adjust or redefine at any time:

• The remuneration amount related to build downloads;
• The rules, conditions and calculation methods used to determine eligible downloads and associated rewards.

Payments

• Payments are processed manually.
• Heybuilds provides a standard invoice template.
• Payments are issued via bank transfer or PayPal.
• A minimum of 7 days must pass between two consecutive payouts.
• A minimum balance of $100 is required to request a payout.

4. Originality & Content Standards

• All submitted builds must be original works.
• Selling or redistributing third-party content without rights is strictly prohibited.
• Builds created or assisted by artificial intelligence are strictly forbidden.
• Content must not include hateful, discriminatory, explicit or illegal material.

5. Quality Standards

• Builds must meet Heybuilds’ quality expectations at all times
• Heybuilds may reject, update or archive any build that does not maintain sufficient quality or functionality.

6. Support & Customer Handling

• Heybuilds fully handles customer support.
• Once a build is published, Heybuilds manages all customer issues, technical problems and post-release incidents.

7. Collaborations

• Collaborative builds are allowed.
• The publishing creator declares acting in good faith and having the consent of all collaborators.
• Revenue sharing between collaborators is entirely outside of Heybuilds’ scope.

8. Content Archival & Removal

• Creators cannot request removal of a build from the catalog
• Builds removed from sale are archived and remain accessible to customers who previously obtained them
• Heybuilds reserves the right to archive or remove any build if these Terms are violated or if quality standards are no longer met.

9. Creator Status & Inactivity

• Creators are under no obligation to promote Heybuilds, upload content, or remain active
• Inactivity does not result in penalties.
• Previously published builds remain sold, accessible and monetized.
• Creators continue to receive earnings from sales, downloads and affiliate subscriptions.
• No retroactive removal of builds or licenses is possible.

10. Platform Evolution

Heybuilds may use all published builds as part of any future platform evolution, including new features, formats, partnerships, monetization models or promotional uses.

11. Termination of the Creator Relationship

Heybuilds reserves the right to terminate a creator’s participation in the Heybuilds Creator Program at any time, with or without cause, and at its sole discretion.

Such termination does not affect:

• builds already published, which remain the exclusive property of Heybuilds;
• customer licenses already granted, which remain permanent and irrevocable;
• earnings accrued prior to the termination date.

Upon termination, the creator:

• loses access to the Creator Program, dashboard and any future earnings;
• may continue to receive payouts for earnings accrued prior to termination, subject to the payment terms defined herein.

12. Data, Marketing & Privacy

• Revenue generated by the creator as well as statistics associated with their builds (sales, downloads, performance) may be used for marketing purposes by Heybuilds, unless the creator explicitly objects in writing to support@heybuilds.com.
• The email address, personal data, and payment information of creators and customers are under no circumstances shared with third parties.

Customer licenses granted through Heybuilds are permanent and irrevocable.
